Automotive Air Conditioning Pipeline Assembly Line

This line is semi-automatic, with key steps fully automated. Operators handle loading and pre-assembly, while the machine completes the rest. It is designed for car air conditioning pipe assemblies, including branch pipes, double clamps, and rubber hoses.

We use a two-station design, allowing higher output. Two stations work in parallel: one tests while the other assembles, without waiting for each other. A Yaskawa six-axis robot picks and moves parts with high precision and stable motion.

We implemented three layers of error-proofing to prevent missing parts:
1. Sensor detection: identifies missing bracket welds, side holes on pipes, and missing clamps.
2. Vision re-inspection: checks that marks on rubber hoses are correct.
3. Seal testing: uses an Innomatec leak tester to ensure reliable results.

The test pressure is 2.5 BAR, and the leak standard is less than 1CC per minute. This line handles air conditioning pipe assemblies with branch pipes, clamps, and rubber hoses. Key equipment includes the Innomatec leak tester, Yaskawa robot, and 20W fiber laser marker.

As a semi-automatic assembly and test machine, the two stations operate in parallel, enabling high batch production efficiency. Changeover is fast: simply change the fixture and program, then press one button. We provide a turnkey solution - the assembly line is ready to run upon delivery.

We have extensive experience with leading brands. The system uses Siemens PLC and motors, and FESTO and SMC pneumatic components. ABB robots are also integrated when required.
