Automotive Turbocharger Actuator Assembly Equipment

This machine integrates assembly and testing in a single unit. It installs the wastegate, tightens screws, adjusts the rod, presses the retaining ring and clevis pin, installs the hose and clamp, attaches the dust cover, and packs the finished product. Every step is fully automated.

Displacement detection is highly precise, with an accuracy of 0.01 mm, supporting strokes from 50 to 80 mm using contact or non-contact sensors. The machine collects data, determines pass or fail, and saves results automatically. Air pressure testing is programmable: supply pressure ranges from 6 to 8 BAR, and output pressure can be set manually to 4.2 BAR or 1.2 BAR, or automatically adjusted from 0 to 4 BAR. The order, timing, and number of air pressure cycles are fully programmable.

The system is controlled via a Siemens PLC with a touch screen and RS232 interface, allowing communication with higher-level computers for data transfer. This assembly and test integrated system reduces material handling and performs 100% performance testing on every part. All air pressure parameters are programmable, making it compatible with multiple actuator models. Quality data is collected and stored automatically for full traceability.
