Components of an Automotive Electric Strut
Motor: Provides power to drive the extension and retraction of the support strut.
Gear System: Converts the motor's rotational motion into linear motion, while simultaneously reducing speed and increasing torque.
Lead Screw and Nut: Working in conjunction with the gear system, they translate rotational motion into the extending and retracting movement of the support strut.
Spring: Serves an auxiliary support and cushioning function, ensuring smoother opening and closing of the tailgate.
Sensors: Used to detect the position and status of the tailgate-such as its degree of opening or closing, or whether it has encountered an obstruction.
Controller: Receives signals from interior buttons, remote keys, or other sensors, and regulates the operation of the motor and the movement of the support strut.
