Automotive Water Tank Airtightness Testing Equipment

This turnkey machine handles both water tank assembly and airtightness testing. It assembles the water pump and level sensor, tests their functions, and verifies air tightness. If a part passes, the machine marks it; if it fails, an alarm is triggered.

Assembly is semi-automatic. The operator places the water pump and level sensor into the positioning fixture, which ensures accurate placement. Motor and sensor functions are tested automatically. The power supply is 12V DC, and the current detection range is 0.9–4.2 A, with voltage and current accuracy of 0.5%.

Air tightness testing is performed using a CTS I28 leak tester, a high-precision device. The machine performs automatic sealing, pressurization, pressure holding, detection, and result output.

The machine tilts automatically to replicate the orientation of the tank in a vehicle. A motor drives the tilting fixture, which includes a positioning brake to stop at a precise angle, making the test more realistic. The machine also checks mounting holes and triggers an alarm if any hole is not fully punched through.
